Project Description

Daniel G. Chichester

Writer

Writer D.G. Chichester may be best known for his long run on Daredevil, which included shaking things up in The Fall of the Kingpin and Fall from Grace. He is also the first writer to team Daredevil and Batman, and brought Elektra back from her ninja shadows in Root of Evil. A co-creator of the Midnight Sons, he unleashed supernatural mayhem with Nightstalkers, and stalked the shadowy corners of the Marvel U with the menacing mercenary, Terror, Inc. His pioneering work in digital comics included animated Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America and X-Men stories for Marvel’s Cybercomics. D.G. revitalized Hydra as a worthy opponent to Nick Fury, Agent of SHIELD, and he introduced Clive Barker’s Hellraiser and Nightbreed to comics fans. D.G. also wrote Sliders at Acclaim, Motorhead at Dark Horse, and Judge Dredd at DC. As one of the principals at  Marvel’s high-end Epic Comics line, he was editor on Stray Toasters, Marshal Law and Groo the Wanderer — where he was crowned as an ongoing gag, “The Prince of Chichester.” Beyond the comic page, D.G. is an award-winning creative in advertising.
